See the fields ripe unto Harvest

Jurgielewicz field corn is ripe with leaves dried to a crispy brown. The soybeans have turned into a sea of gold framed by long rows of hay ready for baling. Soon the combines will arrive, collecting the crops and clearing the fields.  Afterwards, the farm cycle begins again with the grain drill planting rye and winter wheat.

All across America communities celebrate this annual harvest. Our own local church sponsors an annual festival featuring fireworks, hayrides and pumpkin patches, tournaments, music and family entertainment with lots of homemade baked goods and ethnic foods.

Get out and enjoy the crisp autumn air and be sure to visit a local Harvest festival.
