As the year comes to an end, we look forward to the excitement of the new year and want to take a moment to celebrate the accomplishments of 2023.
In 2023, we completed a substantial plant expansion. The expansion increased our capacity and efficiency, while maintaining the highest product quality. This investment enables us to continue to meet the increased demand for America’s Tastiest Duck from our chef partners and growing interest from consumers.
This year saw the demand for Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, Ltd.’s duck continue to grow in domestic markets. We increased our reach across all 50 states. We also increased our presence in key international markets like Singapore, Mexico, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean.
We are pleased to announce that Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, Ltd. is one of the newest sponsors of the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. We partnered with Thad Moffitt, a fourth-generation racer and grandson of “The King” Richard Petty. JJS will be featured prominently on the number 43 car during several races in the Trans Am Series TA2 class, and featured on the number 46 truck in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. The new year will certainly continue to bring many new and exciting opportunities.
The most exciting news of 2023 is on the family front. Dr. Joe and Rita welcomed two new grandkids into our flock (now a total of 8 grandkids)! It won’t be long until little Nathan and Matthew join the rest of us on the farm.
