As we prepare to welcome 2026, the Jurgielewicz family extends our heartfelt wishes for a Merry Christmas, joyful holiday season, and a prosperous New Year. We are deeply grateful to our loyal partners, customers, and dedicated employees whose support and hard work made 2025 another remarkable year for Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, Ltd.
The popularity of America’s Tastiest Duck continues to soar! To meet growing demand, we proudly partnered with more farm families across Pennsylvania and now collaborate with 43 local farms raising JJS Pekin ducks.
Innovation remained at the forefront this year. Our Duck Carnitas, launched in 2024, earned the prestigious Spirit of Innovation Award from Prepared Foods. We also introduced new products including our Dry Aged Duck program, Liquid Duck Eggs, Salted Duck Eggs, and Duck Dumplings in Fajita Duck and Peking Duck flavors—helping chefs and restaurant operators expand menus and delight customers.
On the consumer side, we launched the Plated By meal kit series, inspired by renowned chefs. The first kit, created with Chef JRob—former executive pre-game chef for the Atlanta Falcons—features recipes for Tasty Duck Gumbo and Tasty Thai Duck Quarters. Supporting the culinary community remained a priority in 2025. We proudly participated in numerous American Culinary Federation (ACF) chapter events and sponsored the ACF National Convention’s Chef of the Year and Student Chef of the Year competitions. We also celebrate Sophie Mellet-Grinnell, honored as Member of the Year by her local ACF Chapter for her outstanding contributions locally and nationwide.
As the year closes, we extend our sincere thanks to our customers, partners, vendors, and employees for a fantastic 2025. We look forward to an exciting new year, beginning with two of our favorite celebrations—National Peking Duck Day and Lunar New Year.
